Maximum Number of Keys Reached
Rivian enforces a limit of four (4) "Phone Keys" per vehicle— which includes both Apple Watch and phone connections. To pair your watch with your vehicle, you must first delete one of the four keys already enrolled. You can do this from the vehicle itself, or from the official Rivian app.
To remove a "Phone Key" as an "owner" from within the first party Rivian App:
- Navigate to Security & Access
- Select Drivers and Keys
- Choose the user profile that owns the key you want to remove
- Select the specific key you want to delete
- Tap Unpair Key
- Confirm the removal
Please note that it may take a couple of minutes for the vehicle, watch, and phone to reflect this change.
