What is efficiency?
Efficiency is our measure of how your car is performing against how the car is rated to perform. For example, say your car says that it has 100 miles left in the battery, if you drive 100 miles and your battery reads 0, you’ve obtained 100% efficiency.
Please note that efficiency is based on range and distance and is not directly based on power, or energy used per distance (i.e. wh/mi or wh/km).
Like combustion engines, there’s a lot of variability in efficiency - mainly related to weather, speed, and elevation. With some practice, you’ll learn how to become a very efficient driver. And on days when you’re not? At least you’re not burning gas!
